Meet The Roofing Outfitters Team

Tim Andersen

Hi! I’m Tim, and I’ve been walking on roofs long before I could even remember. I’m a second-generation roofer, originally from the Dallas area and I’ve learned a lot from being in this industry for most of my life. I believe in doing what’s best for the customer, which sometimes means NOT replacing an entire roof. I truly want to make the roofing industry better than it is, and help you make decisions with full confidence. I want you to know you have a contractor on your side who is local, loyal, and trustworthy. While I have countless years of experience in residential and commercial roofing, I also have my license in Colorado as a roofing contractor. I personally hold this license, which is rare. I also have training as an insurance adjuster, which gives me unique insight into knowing exactly what your insurance company will be looking for when you file a claim. I have experience flipping houses and other areas of construction, which helps me understand how different systems in a house work together. My wife and I are proud to call Evergreen, Colorado, home and can’t imagine living anywhere else. We love getting to know you all and are so thankful to be part of this mountain community so close to Denver.

Roofing Outfitters Safety Commitment

Roofing Outfitters is committed to providing the highest-quality roofing products in a safe work environment to all its customers. We take this promise seriously and assure all our customers that every Roofing Outfitters employee must pass a background check and drug test before entering any home.

We call this promise the Roofing Outfitters Safety Commitment.

Unlike other roofing companies, we take extra care and consideration in ensuring the safety for all our customers. When you see our safety seal on Roofing Outfitters vehicles and employee uniforms, you can have peace of mind knowing that the contractor you invite into your home is a trustworthy individual.

Thank you for your support – we appreciate you considering and/or choosing our company and look forward to servicing you.

Choosing A Colorado Roofing Contractor

Yes!  It is possible to feel confident in who you hire…

Licensed – All roofing contractors should carry their own license and be able to easily prove that to you.  Ask to see the license before signing a contract. Unlicensed companies will hire a 3rd party to pull permits for them.  We are proud that we pull all of our own residential and commercial permits.

Note:  A business license is not the same as the roofing contractor license!

Insured – All roofing contractors needs to be insured and be able to show proof of insurance. Bonding typically is covered under insurance policies these days.

Experience – Look for a contractor who has extensive experience with multiple types of roofs and materials.  Don’t hesitate to ask for references and their portfolio.

Local Experience – Look for someone who knows and understands Colorado’s climate and weather conditions.  Some roofing contractors travel regionally and therefore, don’t understand the Colorado climate as intimately as someone who lives here year round.

Full Company Name & Physical Address – Ask any roofing company for their full name and address.

Note: A PO Box is ok but also verify a local address. You want to know that the company you hire is local and will be around should a problem arise.

Research Reviews – Look for reviews online to see if a company is reputable.

Warranties – Ask the roofing company if they offer any warranties or guarantees for their work.  Roofing Outfitters offers a 1 year warranty on residential roof repairs, and a 10 year warranty on new residential roofs. The roof itself often has its own warranty on the product and we provide this information to the client at the end of every job.
